When using a shooting tent like the Magic Pyramid, you end up putting the product like jewelry for instance on the table and putting the tent on top of the item. If the item is small, you can use a small box or other item to raise if off of the table so that it is closer to the camera. That way you get the image size that you want to work with when you open up the file in your computer. Remember with this tent the camera is normally mounted on the top mounting bracket attached to the top opening of the pyramid tent.

You can use your regular photoflood lights to light the pyramid. Just position them so that they are about 1 to 2 feet away from the sides of the pyramid and slightly above the level of the item inside of the tent.
